Doctor of Chiropractic
Annabelle is originally from a small village in Bedfordshire, England. She first became interested in what chiropractic could offer as a child when her father developed low back pain and received chiropractic care. After seeing what a difference it made, she decided at the age of 13 that she was going to become a chiropractor herself.
After having spent 5 years training at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth to obtain her Masters in Chiropractic (MChiro), she then proceeded with another year of training to gain her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC).
Following her graduation, Annabelle moved to the Isle of Man in 2009 and spent 5 years working as a chiropractor in Ramsey. Having gained ample experience, she decided to open her own chiropractic clinic in 2015 with a mission to promote the healthcare that chiropractic offers.
As well as providing a range of chiropractic manipulative techniques to suit people from all walks of life, Annabelle has trained in dry needling (a form of acupuncture), massage and kinesiotaping, so can offer a wide variety of soft tissue treatments to work alongside the more traditional chiropractic approach.
Annabelle is fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council and completes a certain number of hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) each year in order to further her knowledge and understanding of the body and to keep up with current techniques and development.
Annabelle enjoys treating people of all ages from newborns to the elderly and the challenges that each provide. She also enjoys working not only with spinal conditions such a neck and back pain, but also extremities including shoulders, hips, knees, hands and feet.
Annabelle looks forward to meeting you in person. Please call the clinic on 433 777 if you would like to make an appointment with Annabelle Westbury.
